PCOS is a frustrating condition.

Especially when no-one seems to be able to give you an answer for what to do.

You end up jumping from diet to diet, hoping something will FINALLY work. You find an influencer with a workout plan for PCOS, so you try that. And you spend thousands of dollars on supplements you’ve heard are ‘good for PCOS’.

And yet, nothing changes.

This is because it isn’t the right combination of lifestyle changes for YOUR body and PCOS.

But it doesn't have to be this way

Science has proven that lifestyle changes can have a massive impact on your PCOS- but only if it’s the right changes. And that’s what we help you with:

The right lifestyle changes for you PCOS- based on your symptoms and clinical markers.

This is The PCOS Protocol.

How we help you

1. Identify

Magnifying glass icon

We’re all different. So our first step is to identify what’s driving YOUR PCOS symptoms. Is it your blood sugar, stress hormones, chronic inflammation or something else? We use smart machine learning to identify this for you.

2. Teach

Once we’ve ‘identified’, we then match you with the exact changes that are going to have the biggest impact on your symptoms. We deliver these changes to you through a combination of video, PDF, audio.

3. Implement

Our aim is to help you implement these changes in a way that’s going to be sustainable for you. This is why we gradually ‘drip feed’ you the changes, so you can focus on one at a time. Then we have our private forum and weekly video calls to help you with any issues you might be having implementing these.

Matching you with the most important lifestyle changes based on your 'root cause'

Customers on average rate The PCOS Protocol 4.7 out of 5 stars

"My first big win of the protocol was losing the sugar craving. Mind-blowing. I have lost 6kg so far, and I’m at week 14. But the wins are a lot more than any weight loss. I have real energy, I don’t feel so tired, I’m not hungry for hours at a time and my bowel has paid attention too– who knew that even your poo was affected!"

—  Anna

"Once the Protocol began, many of my symptoms disappeared quickly, and felt amazing after 1 week. I was shocked that I didn't crave sugar and had a ton of energy. As the Protocol progressed, I felt better and better. My night sweats disappeared after 2 weeks. After about a month and a half, my acne improved and I had lost 15 lbs. without "dieting", and by the end I was pregnant (after no periods for many months)."

—  Rachel

"For me the diet changes have caused a huge turnaround in my energy levels. No longer do I have a constant worry about being a sideline mom. I can play with my child and still have energy to stay up with my husband even after a full day of teaching. This protocol has truly been a blessing for my family. My husband was understanding but I know he was missing time with me. I honestly can’t wait to see what the future brings! I am once again an active participant in my life!!"

—  Tracy

"Everything has been reversed! I no longer have acne or eczema, I get my period EVERY month, my hair has stopped falling out. My IBS and pain are no more. My palpitations are gone (these may have been due to a wheat allergy!). I am no longer anxious. I am down to a svelte 119 lbs, with a 25" waist measurement and 36" hips - all of this in a 4 month period! I love the energy I now have!"

I know what it's like...

I’m Clare – the degree qualified Nutritionist and Exercise Scientist behind The PCOS Nutritionist and most importantly – a fellow PCOS sufferer. Through years of dealing with my own PCOS symptoms, studying, researching and working with thousands of other women with PCOS, I developed the PCOS Protocol. It’s the exact program I wish I had 10 years ago, when I was really struggling to manage my PCOS.

Luckily for you, I’ve done the hard yards so you don’t have to. I’ve designed this program specifically for women with PCOS focusing on the changes to address your root cause rather than methods that just band-aid your symptoms.

Medical professionals love The PCOS Protocol too!

“I’m a doctor, so you would think with my education that I would have been able to figure out what was happening with my body and how to fix it, but I was none the wiser. Since doing the protocol I have lost 20 lbs and 6 inches off my waist, lowered my HbA1c from 5.5 to 5, my acne has cleared up, my hair fall has reduced, I am not as irritable and I have loads more energy.”

—  Dr Danah Bharmal

'I got diagnosed with PCOS when I was 30, and all my symptoms started to make sense. My cravings, fatigue, unexplained weight gain, abnormal hair growth and fertility challenges. In medical school, we didn't learn a whole lot about PCOS, and in the past few years my symptoms really started to bother me, so I decided: I'm going to science the sh*t out of this! I started researching and that's when I found The PCOS Protocol. I thought: Oh my gosh, this is exactly along the lines of what I've found in my research, and Clare has already scienced everything out of it." It was great!

Since doing the protocol, I have so much more energy!! I now have no energy slumps throughout the day and I don't get home from work and have to lay on the floor. I also don't get hungry all the time and am free of sugar cravings.

How much is it?

A big one-off payment doesn’t work for everyone. That’s why we have the option of either a one-off payment or three-monthly payments:

FAQs

Will this really work when I feel like I've already tried everything?

If you’re feeling like this, you’re not alone. I felt this and think every woman I’ve worked with has too. Of course, we can’t guarantee any results, and anyone that does should not be trusted! Bodies are all so different. However, what I can guarantee you is that if you complete the modules, you will learn so much about your body and what’s driving your symptoms. “My fear was that it wouldn’t work, that I’d fail because I’d failed so many times before and I’d give up…..But this protocol is different because you’re actually treating the root cause” – Clare A.

How much time a week will I need?

You’ll need an hour a week to set aside to review the video modules and implement the task for the week. But don’t worry, it’s a self paced course, so if you’re away one week and fall behind, it will be there when you get back. You’ll also need to set aside 30 mins a day for cooking. Can you manage that to improve your health? I think we all can. We all have the same 24 hours in a day. It’s what we chose to prioritise that makes the difference.

I'm vegetarian/vegan. Is this program suitable for me?

You can absolutely do the program when following a vegetarian or vegan diet however currently we are still growing our vegan specific resources like recipes (bear with us!). We put a lot of the focus in the program into you understanding your body and educating you about diet so that you can create your own meal plans and adapt recipes to suit your dietary choices. Our philosophy is along the lines of “teach a woman to fish”- if we give you the tools then you can make any situation work, whereas if we just give you a strict diet plan to follow, then it wouldn’t be sustainable. For certain PCOS types plant proteins can take a little more careful planning, as well as certain nutrients (as with any vegan diet) so it’s important to keep this in mind.

Do I need a computer or can I access this from my mobile?

You can access this from anywhere and on any device! So long as you have a web browser and an internet connection you can access this from any device you like!

Will The PCOS Protocol be tailored to my personal symptoms?

Yes! This is the whole point of the protocol. There isn’t ONE PCOS therefore there can never be ONE plan that suits everyone. As Steph says: “Clare’s program is so relevant because it’s individually tailored to your situation. The whole objective is to find the root cause of your particular case and why you’re not ovulating. And that’s what PCOS is- you need to understand why you are not ovulating”

Will I get support or am I doing this on my own?

You are supported 100% of the way! We have weekly video calls where we chat through any more complex questions you may have about your PCOS symptoms. Any quick questions are answered inside our community group or email.

Can a [nationality] register for the program? / I am based in [country], can I still join the Protocol?

The PCOS Protocol can be done anywhere in the world since the modules are delivered online so all you need is a laptop/mobile phone and a stable internet connection and you should be set to join us. You can sign up at any time and get access to Day 1 module within 24 hours of enrolment.

How do you do the weekly live video calls?

The weekly calls are held via Zoom. The link and details are shared as Events in our closed community group, and you are welcome to join any of the calls that fit your schedule. The times change for these each week, typically held on a Monday NZ time, to ensure that all timezones across the world are included. Once on the group call, we go around one by one and ask you to unmute to chat with you further and answer your questions. We stay until EVERY single question is answered. The weekly group calls are run by Clare and her team of qualified nutritionists.

I do not believe that I have PCOS but I do believe that I have other symptoms of hormonal imbalance. Is the Protocol something that can still benefit me?

The only requirement for you to join us in the Protocol is if you are diagnosed with PCOS. If you are unsure of your condition, we highly recommend that you seek help from your medical practitioner first. We wouldn’t want you to be second guessing your diagnosis and trying out recommendations that won’t fit your needs. In the event that you have confirmed that you do have PCOS, then I believe the PCOS Protocol is something that can help you greatly.

When can I enrol to the Protocol?/ When is the next intake?

You can actually enroll to the Protocol anytime and you get access to the modules within 24 hours of enrollment too.

We're trying to conceive. Is it wise to enroll to the program at this time?

We definitely encourage you to take part in the Protocol! If you are trying to conceive, I believe that this program aligns with your health goal and that is to make sure that your body is in optimum condition to conceive and carry a baby full term.

I'm currently on the pill. Is it still okay for me to join the Protocol ?

Yes!  You can be on any medication you want/ need. The Protocol is not an ‘all’ natural approach, nor does it need to be.  The protocol is designed to complement any medication you are taking.  Clare often advises our Protocolers to make sure that they have made the changes in the program for at least a few months and have seen improvements in their overall symptoms before they discuss with their doctors the possibility of removing the pill. Removing the pill immediately might mean that you get a backlash of symptoms (acne, hair growth, hair loss etc), which you likely don’t want!

I am already menopause/ perimentopause. Is the Protocol something that can still help me?

Yes!  Oftentimes symptoms can get worse after menopause. While your body might not be producing estrogen and progesterone any more, your other organs (like fat tissue) still produce testosterone.   And without progesterone opposing the testosterone, symptoms can get even worse.   Thus it is advisable that you start understanding your body better now so you can implement the lifestyle changes that can have the biggest impact for you.

How do you identify my root cause or PCOS type?

Don’t worry, you don’t need to do this on your own or before the protocol.  This is what we help you identify in week 1!  And you don’t need lots of tests from your doctor.  In 90% of cases, we can identify this from symptoms alone, and if not, then Clare will direct you to what changes to start with while you get some followup tests.

How long do I get support along with The PCOS Protocol?

Your support begins on your day of enrolment and continues for the next 14 weeks. This includes:  Email support – you can email any questions, blood test results, or queries.  Weekly Group Consultations – Zoom calls where we get to talk to you live, answer any questions you have and meet fellow protocolers.  Access to our Community Group where you can meet your fellow protocolers, ask questions, and engage in our feed full of present and past posts (so many helpful resources!)

What happens after the 14 weeks of support?

The good news is this is not goodbye, PHEW! We have an ongoing support program called The Lifers.  The Lifers includes access to our bonus modules and additional content to support you and your PCOS. We also have fortnightly calls (just like in the protocol) so we can keep seeing you and answering your questions!

How much does the program cost?

The total cost for the twelve-week program including all the weekly group consultationse, the private forum to meet other women and get your questions answered by The PCOS Nutritionist teams, educational videos, daily emails, PDF guides, weekly live video calls, recipe eBook, and bonus videos is only $479 (or 3 payments of $185).

Will my questions be answered?

Yes, all questions are answered!  We don’t cherry pick questions that are convenient to us.  You can post questions in the private forum which will be answered ASAP.  Otherwise, if it’s something more complex, we can answer it on the weekly group consultations or via email if you wish.

When will my questions be answered once I'm in the Protocol?

Your questions will be answered between 8.30am- 5pm NZT Monday- Friday (excluding public holidays).  You can ask questions either in the private forum, email, or on the weekly Zoom video calls. We’ll endeavour to have your question answered within 24 hours.

How does the course work?

Within 24 hours of signing up, you’ll receive an email from us with all the details you need to login and access the online material. Each of your daily emails from Clare and The PCOS Nutritionist team will also direct you back to the site and to the course material for that day. The first week, we identify what is most likely driving your PCOS symptoms (your ‘root cause’). Then the following 11 weeks, you’ll get the most important, specific lifestyle changes for YOU.  These are different depending on what we identified in the first week.

Will I have interaction with other women who are doing the program with me?

Absolutely! There is a forum where you can comment and interact with other participants and The PCOS Nutritionist team.  You’ll also meet them on the weekly calls and hear all their questions too.  We’re told that these interactions and community support are some of the most valuable parts of the program.

Is this a diet?

No.  While we do make some dietary recommendations for most people, this program does not offer or dictate any specific meal plan.  We teach you how to eat to work with your body- but also encourage you that there should be no ‘forbidden foods’ and to take an 80/20 approach. This program, also isn’t solely about nutrition- we understand this might be confusing given Clare is a Registered Nutritionist, what you might not know if is that she also has a background in exercise science, natural fertility education and functional medicine. So her recommendations cover everything from exercise to supplements, gut health, sleep, stress management and more.

How much interaction will I have with Clare?

Clare runs several of the group calls every month that you can join and to talk to her directly.  She’ll un-mute you and you can ask your question. The remaining group calls are run by other members of our amazing team of qualified Nutritionists and PCOS experts. Clare is also in the private forum every week day answering your questions and sharing what things she’s doing/ using.

Who do I contact if I have any issues accessing the course after enrolling?

If you have any technical difficulties at all from the moment you sign up and throughout the course, you can reach out to info@thepcosnutritionist.com.
